I'm back! Sorry I've been gone for so long. It was mostly due to laziness, but I WAS a little bit busy. ;-) I was preparing for final exams, and then over winter break I was still kind of busy because I had to finish "East of Eden" (the longest book EVER) which I had to have finished by the time I went back to school and started English class. Luckily I did end up finishing everything. My Christmas was pretty good. We just stayed home as usual, but my brother came back home during his break.
Well, I started school again last Tuesday. So far, my classes are going well for the most part. First block, I have English. I was brave and decided to take honors English this year, but still not brave enough to take AP. But anyway, it's going pretty well so far. Right now we're discussing the books we read for summer reading, but unfortunately that dreaded yearly research paper will be coming up soon. But, our teacher did say that we would get them done before spring break so that that way, they wouldn't be "hanging over our heads" during spring break. So I guess that's good at least. lol
Then 2nd block I have Algebra II. Whoopee. Math, my favorite subject...NOT! lol. Well, so far it hasn't been too hard because we're doing review from Algebra I. The problem is that some of the stuff we've been doing has required a lot of steps and stuff and takes a really long time. I found myself rushing to finish the first test that we took on Wednesday because I was running out of time. I'm afraid I didn't do very well on it. :( Hopefully the time thing won't be a problem on all the tests. I REALLY hate timed tests!
Then, I have peer helping again 3rd block. I'm still enjoying it. We had a few people from last semester leave and we have a few new people in there this semester. They're all really nice too, so I think this semester will go well too. :)
And then I have art last. It's going pretty well so far, and I'm surprised that I'm managing to make somewhat decent drawings. haha lol. The only bad thing is that some people in that class are quite loud and annoying. One guy in particular, who was in my Spanish 1 class last year, is in art now. He is quite possibly the most obnoxious, immature person I've seen in my life, seriously. lol. And the teacher certainly isn't someone who will put up with people like that. lol. She's already given two people detention. But luckily she seems to like me since I don't do that stuff during class. lol
Well, I'm really enjoying dance now because we've started working on our recital dances! I really like them all so far, especially the tap! I LOVE that one so far, it's so fun. :D The song for that is We Will Rock You. For jazz we're dancing to "Just Stand Up" (that song from the Stand Up to Cancer telethon) and for ballet we're dancing to an instrumental remix of "Dance With My Father."
And I am sooo glad that it's finally Friday and I get a 3-day weekend! Woohoo! :D

Ugh I know your pain with Algebra 2!! Math has never been my favorite, and I can't say I'm too crazy about Algebra 2. Lol. But it's better than geometry at least! =] and yes I HATE timed tests!!! It's soo unfair because people could probably do a lot better if they had just a little more time! *sigh* oh well lol
Oh dear not another obnoxious classmate...*sigh* haha well hopefully that teacher will be able to keep him in hand! I just can't stand obnoxious, distracting kids...haha. Anyways hope art goes well! I admire anyone who can draw anything at all because I can barely handle drawing a decent stick figure! I would flunk out of art easily...haha
Oh cool well you'll have to keep me updated on how the recital dances go! ;) They all sound like fun! I do miss the excitement of preparing for recitals and stuff....*sigh* oh well lol

Yeah, at least it's a little better than geometry. lol. I would scream if I ever had to sit through another geometry class..haha.
Yeah, luckily the teacher is handling him well. haha. But omg, I can't believe how immature he is! One time when the teacher was on the computer and wasn't looking, he crawled under the table so he could talk to this girl on the other side...but he got caught! haha lol.
